Chilean Chronicles: Abenteuer, Hindernisse und Sternenklare Nächte auf der Reise durch Chile

Nach den aufregenden Abenteuern in Argentinien führte unser Weg mich und meine Mama weiter nach Chile. Allerdings stießen wir gleich zu Beginn auf einige Schwierigkeiten. Die Busstrecke von Mendoza nach Santiago war aufgrund von Schneefällen auf dem Pass für mehrere Tage gesperrt. Infolgedessen mussten wir kurzfristig einen teuren Flug nach Santiago buchen, da wir einen straffen Zeitplan einhalten mussten.

In Santiago angekommen, erlebten wir zunächst eine kleine Herausforderung. Unser Hotel lag im Zentrum der Stadt, aber uns wurde später berichtet, dass gerade dieses Viertel als gefährlich galt und unser Hotel in einer der problematischsten Gegenden lag. Aus Sicherheitsgründen entschieden wir uns, nach 22 Uhr abends nicht mehr aus dem Hotel zu gehen.

Am nächsten Morgen brachen wir früh auf und begaben uns auf den Weg nach San Pedro de Atacama. Wir flogen nach Calama und setzten unsere Reise von dort aus mit dem Bus fort. In San Pedro hatten wir vier Tage Zeit, um die Region zu erkunden. Wir unternahmen verschiedene Touren, darunter einen Ausflug ins Mondtal, eine Erkundung der umliegenden Wüstengebiete und als absolutes Highlight eine Tour zur Beobachtung der Sterne. Letzteres erwies sich als Höhepunkt für meine Mama und mich, da es schlichtweg faszinierend und wunderschön war. Durch Teleskope konnten wir den Planeten Saturn und zahlreiche andere Sterne bewundern.

Am letzten Tag unternahm ich eine Tour ohne meine Mama, da sie leider krank wurde. Dennoch hatte ich das Glück, großartige Leute auf der Tour kennenzulernen und wir hatten eine tolle Zeit zusammen. Anschließend ging es zurück nach Santiago, wo wir eine weitere Nacht verbrachten.

Am folgenden Tag feierte Chile seinen Nationalfeiertag. Da unser Bus erst am Abend abfuhr, nutzten wir die Zeit, um an einem großen Fest teilzunehmen. Dort genossen wir köstliche Gerichte der chilenischen Küche und lauschten Konzerten von chilenischen Künstlern. Gegen Abend machten wir uns dann auf den Weg zur Busstation, wo wir den Bus nach Puerto Varas nahmen. Die zwölfstündige Busfahrt war eine der komfortabelsten auf meiner Reise, mit moderner Ausstattung und viel Beinfreiheit.

In Puerto Varas angekommen, holten wir unseren geräumigen Camper ab und begannen unsere Reise in Richtung der wunderschönen Insel Chiloe. Dort verbrachten wir sieben unvergessliche Tage, erkundeten verschiedene Nationalparks und Strände. Die Insel beeindruckte uns mit ihrer natürlichen Schönheit, und es gab viele malerische Orte zum Campen. An der Pazifikküste hatten wir sogar das Glück, bei Sonnenuntergang Wale zu sehen, ein unvergesslicher Moment.

Das Wetter spielte größtenteils mit, obwohl die Campingplätze oft nur kaltes Wasser hatten. Wir fanden jedoch Wege, uns damit zu arrangieren. Leider verhinderte starker Wind, dass wir die Pinguine im Norden der Insel am vorletzten Tag besuchen konnten. Dennoch war unsere Zeit auf der Insel Chiloe insgesamt wunderbar.

Als nächstes holen wir meinen Papa ab und machen uns auf den Weg ins Herz von Patagonien, bevor wir schließlich für eine kurze Zeit nach Argentinien zurückkehren. Ich halte euch auf dem Laufenden über unsere Abenteuer!

Crónicas Chilenas: Aventuras, Obstáculos y Noches Estrelladas en el Viaje por Chile

Tras las emocionantes aventuras en Argentina, mi madre y yo continuamos nuestro viaje hacia Chile. Sin embargo, nos encontramos con dificultades desde el principio. La ruta en autobús desde Mendoza hasta Santiago estuvo cerrada durante varios días debido a las fuertes nevadas en el paso. Como resultado, tuvimos que reservar un vuelo a Santiago a última hora, lo cual no fue precisamente económico, pero dado nuestro ajustado cronograma, casi no tuvimos otra opción.

Una vez en Santiago, nos topamos con un pequeño desafío. Nuestro hotel estaba ubicado en el centro de la ciudad, pero más tarde nos informaron que precisamente esa zona era considerada peligrosa y que nuestro hotel estaba en uno de los lugares más problemáticos. Por razones de seguridad, decidimos no salir del hotel después de las 22:00 horas.

A la mañana siguiente, partimos temprano hacia San Pedro de Atacama. Volamos a Calama y desde allí continuamos nuestro viaje en autobús. En San Pedro, tuvimos cuatro días para explorar la región. Realizamos diversas excursiones, incluyendo una visita al Valle de la Luna, una exploración de las áreas desérticas circundantes y, como punto culminante, una excursión para observar las estrellas. Esta última resultó ser el punto culminante para mi madre y para mí, ya que fue sencillamente fascinante y hermoso. A través de telescopios, pudimos contemplar el planeta Saturno y muchas otras estrellas.

En el último día, hice una excursión sin mi madre, ya que lamentablemente se enfermó. Sin embargo, tuve la suerte de conocer a gente maravillosa en la excursión y pasamos un buen rato juntos. Luego, regresamos a Santiago, donde pasamos otra noche.

Al día siguiente, Chile celebraba su Día Nacional. Dado que nuestro autobús partía recién por la noche, aprovechamos el tiempo para asistir a una gran fiesta. Allí disfrutamos de deliciosos platillos de la cocina chilena y escuchamos conciertos de artistas chilenos. Hacia la noche, nos dirigimos a la estación de autobuses y tomamos el autobús rumbo a Puerto Varas. El viaje en autobús de doce horas fue uno de los más cómodos de mi viaje, con comodidades modernas y mucho espacio para las piernas.

Al llegar a Puerto Varas, recogimos nuestra espaciosa camper y comenzamos nuestro viaje hacia la hermosa Isla de Chiloé. Allí pasamos siete días inolvidables, explorando diversos parques nacionales y playas. La isla nos impresionó con su belleza natural y había muchos lugares pintorescos para acampar. En la costa del Pacífico, incluso tuvimos la suerte de ver ballenas al atardecer, un momento inolvidable.

El clima nos acompañó en su mayoría, aunque los campamentos a menudo solo tenían agua fría. Sin embargo, encontramos formas de adaptarnos. Desafortunadamente, el viento fuerte nos impidió visitar a los pingüinos en el norte de la isla en el penúltimo día. No obstante, nuestra estadía en la Isla de Chiloé fue en general maravillosa.

A continuación, recogeremos a mi papá y nos dirigiremos al corazón de la Patagonia antes de regresar a Argentina por un corto período. ¡Los mantendré informados sobre nuestras aventuras!

Chilean Chronicles: Adventures, Obstacles, and Starry Nights on the Journey through Chile

After the exciting adventures in Argentina, my mother and I continued our journey to Chile. However, we encountered difficulties right from the start. The bus route from Mendoza to Santiago was closed for several days due to heavy snowfall on the pass. As a result, we had to book a last-minute flight to Santiago, which was not exactly budget-friendly, but given our tight schedule, we had almost no other option.

Upon arriving in Santiago, we faced a small challenge. Our hotel was located in the city center, but we were later informed that this area was considered dangerous, and our hotel was in one of the most problematic places. For safety reasons, we decided not to leave the hotel after 10:00 PM.

The next morning, we set off early for San Pedro de Atacama. We flew to Calama, and from there, we continued our journey by bus. In San Pedro, we had four days to explore the region. We took various tours, including a visit to the Valley of the Moon, an exploration of the surrounding desert areas, and, as a highlight, a stargazing tour. The latter proved to be the highlight for my mother and me, as it was simply fascinating and beautiful. Through telescopes, we were able to observe the planet Saturn and many other stars.

On the last day, I went on a tour without my mother, as she unfortunately fell ill. However, I was fortunate to meet wonderful people on the tour, and we had a great time together. Later, we returned to Santiago, where we spent another night.

The following day, Chile celebrated its National Day. Since our bus didn't depart until the evening, we took the time to attend a big celebration. There, we enjoyed delicious dishes from Chilean cuisine and listened to concerts by Chilean artists. Towards the evening, we headed to the bus station and took the bus to Puerto Varas. The twelve-hour bus journey was one of the most comfortable on my trip, with modern amenities and plenty of legroom.

Upon arriving in Puerto Varas, we picked up our spacious camper and began our journey to the beautiful Chiloé Island. There, we spent seven unforgettable days, exploring various national parks and beaches. The island impressed us with its natural beauty, and there were many picturesque places to camp. On the Pacific coast, we even had the luck to see whales at sunset, an unforgettable moment.

The weather mostly cooperated, although the campgrounds often had only cold water. However, we found ways to adapt. Unfortunately, strong winds prevented us from visiting the penguins in the northern part of the island on the penultimate day. Nevertheless, our time on Chiloé Island was overall wonderful.

Next, we will pick up my dad and head to the heart of Patagonia before returning to Argentina for a short period. I will keep you informed about our adventures!
