Drei Jahre Abenteuer: Ein Blick zurück und ein Blick nach vorn 🇩🇪🇪🇸🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Am 18. September 2022 begann mein Abenteuer – ein Abenteuer, wie ich es so schnell wohl nicht wieder erleben werde. In Zürich stieg ich ins Flugzeug mit Ziel San José, Costa Rica. Seit diesem Tag habe ich rund 85 % der Länder Mittel- und Südamerikas bereist.  

Ich durfte Kulturen kennenlernen, die mir ohne diese Reise verborgen geblieben wären. Eine neue Sprache habe ich gelernt, die mir ermöglicht, den Alltag auf dem lateinamerikanischen Kontinent besser zu verstehen. Dabei habe ich zahlreiche neue Freunde gefunden – Reisende wie Einheimische – die mir nicht nur das Unterwegssein erleichtert, sondern mir auch viele unvergessliche Momente geschenkt haben.  

Gemeinsam mit ihnen habe ich neue Orte entdeckt, beeindruckende Wanderungen unternommen und Nächte voller Magie erlebt. Doch der größte Höhepunkt meiner Reise war die Zeit mit meiner Familie. Sechs Monate durften wir insgesamt zusammen unterwegs sein – und ja, diese Zeit mit meinen Liebsten hat alles andere übertroffen. Denn bestimmte Erlebnisse gewinnt man auf eine ganz andere Weise, wenn man sie mit der Familie teilt.  

Mit meiner Mutter reiste ich fünf Wochen mit einem Camper durch Chile und Argentinien, ein Jahr später sechs Wochen durch Neuseeland. Und dann, als absolutes Highlight, erkundeten wir gemeinsam die atemberaubendsten Orte dieser Erde: South Georgia und die Antarktis. Auch mit meinem Vater teilte ich besondere Momente, etwa Reisen in die Arktis.  

Doch letztlich ist es nicht entscheidend, wohin man reist, sondern was man erlebt und mit wem man diese Erlebnisse teilt. Ich liebe es, allein zu reisen, neue Menschen kennenzulernen und mich auf spontane Abenteuer einzulassen. Doch genauso schätze ich die Möglichkeit, meine Eindrücke mit meiner Familie oder mit neuen Wegbegleitern zu teilen. Es sind diese gemeinsamen Erlebnisse, die bleiben und uns glücklich machen.  

Das Leben als Reisender ist nicht immer einfach. Aber es schenkt Freiheit, führt uns zu beeindruckenden Kulturen und wundervoller Natur und zeigt uns, was wir wirklich brauchen, was wir nicht vermissen und was wir besonders zu schätzen wissen. Jeder reist anders, und genau das ist gut so – denn jeder Mensch genießt auf seine Weise.  

Ich möchte euch ermutigen, Neues zu wagen. Vielleicht werdet ihr das Reisen lieben, vielleicht auch nicht, aber wenn ihr es nicht versucht, werdet ihr es nie wissen.  

Von Herzen danke ich all den Menschen, die mich 2022, 2023 und 2024 begleitet haben, die mir ein Lächeln geschenkt und mit mir unvergessliche Momente geteilt haben. Das Abenteuer geht auch 2025 weiter!

El 18 de septiembre de 2022 comenzó mi aventura – una aventura que probablemente no volveré a vivir de la misma manera tan pronto. En Zúrich subí al avión con destino a San José, Costa Rica. Desde aquel día, he recorrido aproximadamente el 85 % de los países de América Central y del Sur.

Tuve el privilegio de conocer culturas que, sin este viaje, habrían permanecido ocultas para mí. Aprendí un nuevo idioma que me ha permitido comprender mejor la vida cotidiana en el continente latinoamericano. En el camino, hice numerosos amigos, tanto viajeros como locales, quienes no solo hicieron más fácil mi travesía, sino que también me regalaron momentos inolvidables.

Junto a ellos descubrí nuevos lugares, realicé caminatas impresionantes y viví noches llenas de magia. Sin embargo, el mayor punto culminante de mi viaje fue el tiempo que pasé con mi familia. Durante seis meses pudimos viajar juntos, y sí, esos momentos con mis seres queridos superaron todo lo demás. Hay experiencias que se viven de manera completamente distinta cuando se comparten con la familia.

Con mi madre viajé cinco semanas en camper por Chile y Argentina, y un año después, seis semanas por Nueva Zelanda. Luego, como un verdadero punto álgido, exploramos juntos algunos de los lugares más asombrosos del planeta: South Georgia y la Antártida. También compartí momentos únicos con mi padre, como nuestros viajes al Ártico.

Pero al final, no importa tanto a dónde se viaja, sino lo que se vive y con quién se comparten esas vivencias. Amo viajar solo, conocer a nuevas personas y lanzarme a aventuras espontáneas. Sin embargo, también valoro profundamente la oportunidad de compartir mis impresiones con mi familia o con nuevos compañeros de viaje. Son esos momentos compartidos los que permanecen en la memoria y nos hacen felices.

La vida como viajero no siempre es fácil. Pero regala libertad, nos conduce a culturas impresionantes y a una naturaleza maravillosa, y nos enseña lo que realmente necesitamos, lo que no extrañamos y lo que más valoramos. Cada persona viaja de manera diferente, y eso está perfecto, porque cada uno disfruta a su manera.

Quiero animarlos a atreverse a algo nuevo. Tal vez descubrirán que aman viajar, o tal vez no, pero si no lo intentan, nunca lo sabrán.

Desde el fondo de mi corazón, agradezco a todas las personas que me acompañaron en 2022, 2023 y 2024, que me regalaron una sonrisa y compartieron momentos inolvidables conmigo. ¡La aventura continúa en 2025!

On September 18, 2022, my adventure began – an adventure I’m unlikely to experience in the same way anytime soon. In Zurich, I boarded a plane bound for San José, Costa Rica. Since that day, I’ve traveled through approximately 85% of the countries in Central and South America.

I’ve had the privilege of discovering cultures that would have remained hidden to me without this journey. I learned a new language that has allowed me to better understand daily life on the Latin American continent. Along the way, I’ve made countless new friends – travelers and locals alike – who not only made my journey easier but also gifted me with unforgettable moments.

Together, we explored new places, embarked on stunning hikes, and experienced nights full of magic. But the highlight of my journey was the time I spent with my family. We traveled together for a total of six months, and yes, those moments with my loved ones surpassed everything else. Certain experiences gain a whole new meaning when shared with family.

With my mother, I traveled for five weeks in a camper through Chile and Argentina, and a year later, for six weeks through New Zealand. Then, as the ultimate highlight, we explored some of the most breathtaking places on Earth together: South Georgia and Antarctica. I also shared special moments with my father, like our trips to the Arctic.

In the end, it’s not about where you travel but about what you experience and who you share those experiences with. I love traveling alone, meeting new people, and embracing spontaneous adventures. But I equally treasure the opportunity to share my impressions with family or new companions. These shared moments are the ones that stay with us and bring us joy.

Life as a traveler is not always easy. But it offers freedom, leads us to impressive cultures and stunning nature, and shows us what we truly need, what we don’t miss, and what we value most. Everyone travels differently, and that’s the beauty of it – everyone enjoys it in their own way.

I want to encourage you to take a leap and try something new. Maybe you’ll discover you love traveling, or maybe you won’t – but if you don’t try, you’ll never know.

From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank everyone who accompanied me in 2022, 2023, and 2024, who shared a smile with me, and who created unforgettable moments together with me. The adventure will continue in 2025!
