Zwischen Stadtleben und Bergpfaden: Eine Pause in Argentinien

Die Wochen nach der Expedition waren eher entspannt. Ich mietete mir ein Apartment im Stadtteil Colegiales in Buenos Aires für einen Monat. Die Zeit verbrachte ich vor allem mit meinen Freunden: Ich ging zu Fußballspielen der Boca Juniors, genoss viele leckere Asados und unternahm ab und zu etwas in der Stadt. Diese Pause tat mir gut und war genau das Richtige, um mich wieder auf meine nächsten Reiseabenteuer zu fokussieren.  

Da es mir so gut gefiel, verlängerte ich meinen Aufenthalt in Buenos Aires um eine weitere Woche. In dieser Zeit ging ich zum Spiel der argentinischen Nationalmannschaft gegen Peru – mit Messi auf dem Platz! An meinem Geburtstag lud ich meine Freunde zu einem Schweizer Abend ein: Ich kochte Älplermagronen, und wir verbrachten einen ruhigen und schönen Abend zusammen.  

Danach zog ich wieder weiter und kehrte zurück in den Reisealltag. Mein nächstes Ziel war Bariloche. Ich spürte das Verlangen, in der Natur zu sein und wandern zu gehen. In Bariloche verbrachte ich vier Tage und machte verschiedene Wanderungen, die ich sehr genossen habe. Die schönste Tour führte mich zum Refugio Frey. Sechs Stunden Wanderung wurden mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht und einem leckeren Sandwich belohnt!  

Weiter ging es mit einer Freundin nach El Bolsón, um einen zweitägigen Hike zum Hielo Azul zu unternehmen. Die Wanderung war wunderschön, auch wenn der Gletscher mittlerweile nicht mehr existiert. Der Wald hat sich die Landschaft zurückerobert und bietet eine beeindruckende Atmosphäre. Wir übernachteten im Refugio und genossen dort köstliche Pasta, bevor wir nach El Bolsón zurückkehrten. Zwei zusätzliche Tage verbrachten wir gemütlich im Dorf, schlenderten herum und genossen gutes Essen.  

Die nächste Station war Esquel, ein kleiner, malerischer Ort im Süden von Bariloche. Ich blieb dort drei Tage, wanderte viel und entdeckte, dass Esquel auch ein schöner Winterkurort ist.  

Und jetzt sitze ich hier in Esquel an meinem Laptop, schreibe diesen Blog und plane die nächste Etappe. In ein paar Stunden geht es zurück nach Buenos Aires, wo ich Weihnachten mit Freunden feiern werde. Danach werde ich noch ein bisschen durch Argentinien reisen, bevor ich ein neues Land erkunde.

After the expedition, I rented an apartment in the Colegiales neighborhood of Buenos Aires for a month. Most of my time was spent with friends: I went to Boca Juniors football matches, enjoyed plenty of delicious asados, and occasionally explored the city. This pause was just what I needed to recharge and focus on my next travel adventures.

I enjoyed my time so much that I decided to extend my stay in Buenos Aires for another week. During that time, I attended the Argentine national team's game against Peru – with Messi on the field! On my birthday, I hosted a Swiss evening for my friends: I cooked Älplermagronen, and we spent a quiet, lovely evening together.

After that, I resumed traveling and returned to life on the road. My next destination was Bariloche, where I felt the urge to be in nature and go hiking. I spent four days in Bariloche, enjoying various hikes, which were incredible. The highlight was a hike to Refugio Frey. Six hours of walking were rewarded with breathtaking views and a delicious sandwich!

Next, I traveled with a friend to El Bolsón for a two-day hike to Hielo Azul. The hike was beautiful, even though the glacier no longer exists. The forest has reclaimed the area, creating an impressive and unique atmosphere. We stayed overnight at the Refugio and enjoyed delicious pasta there before returning to El Bolsón. We spent two extra days relaxing in the village, strolling around, and enjoying good food.

The next stop was Esquel, a charming little town south of Bariloche. I stayed there for three days, hiked a lot, and discovered that Esquel is also a lovely winter resort.

And now, here I am in Esquel, sitting at my laptop, writing this blog and planning the next stage of my journey. In just a few hours, I’ll be heading back to Buenos Aires, where I’ll celebrate Christmas with friends. After that, I’ll continue exploring Argentina before venturing into a new country.

Después de la expedición, alquilé un apartamento en el barrio de Colegiales, en Buenos Aires, por un mes. La mayor parte del tiempo lo pasé con amigos: fui a partidos de fútbol de Boca Juniors, disfruté de muchos asados deliciosos y, de vez en cuando, exploré la ciudad. Esta pausa fue exactamente lo que necesitaba para recargar energías y enfocarme en mis próximas aventuras de viaje.

Me gustó tanto mi tiempo en Buenos Aires que decidí extender mi estancia una semana más. Durante esos días, asistí al partido de la selección argentina contra Perú – ¡con Messi en la cancha! En mi cumpleaños, organicé una noche suiza para mis amigos: cociné Älplermagronen, y pasamos una velada tranquila y agradable juntos.

Después, volví a la carretera y retomé la vida viajera. Mi siguiente destino fue Bariloche, donde sentí la necesidad de estar en la naturaleza y hacer senderismo. Pasé cuatro días en Bariloche, disfrutando de diferentes caminatas que me encantaron. La más hermosa me llevó al Refugio Frey. ¡Seis horas de caminata fueron recompensadas con vistas espectaculares y un sándwich delicioso!

Después, viajé con una amiga a El Bolsón para hacer una caminata de dos días al Hielo Azul. Fue un recorrido precioso, aunque el glaciar ya no existe. El bosque ha reclamado el área, creando una atmósfera impresionante y única. Pasamos la noche en el Refugio, donde disfrutamos de una pasta deliciosa, antes de regresar a El Bolsón.

Pasamos dos días adicionales relajándonos en el pueblo, paseando y disfrutando de buena comida.

El siguiente destino fue Esquel, un encantador pueblo al sur de Bariloche. Me quedé allí tres días, hice muchas caminatas y descubrí que Esquel también es un bonito destino de invierno.

Y ahora, aquí estoy en Esquel, sentado frente a mi laptop, escribiendo este blog y planificando la próxima etapa de mi viaje. En unas horas, regreso a Buenos Aires, donde celebraré la Navidad con amigos. Después de eso, seguiré explorando Argentina antes de embarcarme hacia un nuevo país.
